Stopped in while showing properties to an out of state couple for a quick bite. Glad we did! Food was good, you could tell the place was a gathering space for locals(always a good sign). My sausage sub was excellent. My buyers were impressed as well! A nice impression for prospective buyers in Bangor!
The pizza & calzones are superior! Fresh salads, excellent quality food. Mostly take out, but you can eat inside. Always have lunch & dinner specials. Don't miss this one!
Mozzarella sticks were great .. the Pizza was ok just too much sauce but still ok .. I'd definitely go back but long drive from Indiana..
OMG... my Chicagoland friends! We went to this place thinking we were just getting a steak and cheese to go. Guess what!?!? The meat texture is slightly different, but this is an Italian Beef! The juice is perfect! Even the way it soaks the bread. The flavor is spot on for the Italian Beef you are desperately missing from home! If you moved to Maine and are missing an Italian beef as much as I have, YOU KNOW! Just GO!
Garlic bread was really good. Pizza was nice and hot. One of the only places in the area open later. Salad was basic.
The food was great and I ordered about 20 individual ordered. They accommodated all my needs and delivery service was great, as well. Highly recommend!
Excellent foods! Love their grilled chicken salad and my basalmic vinegar dressing was home made like all their dressings. House pizza was great tasting as well. Plenty of toppings and crust was crunchy and baked just right. Hubby had a turkey club sandwich and he said it was a good sandwich. And their fries was delicious and crunchy. My family love their wings and said it was crunchy and great!
The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! Greek pizza is the absolute best, along with their Greek salad/homemade dressing, stuffed shells and lasagna (which both come with a side salad). Their baklava is over cooked but everything else has kept us coming back for years! (Lg pizzas come with a free liter of soda) Family business and always pleasant. Check it out!
I am very impressed. I stopped in to get a small calzone to go. Angelo's is located close to the airport so I wasn't sure how good the pizza would be. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the staff, and the calzone. The 'house' special was amazing. The small calzone is enough for 2 people. The dough is not to thick and let's the fillings enhance flavor. I don't usually give 5's and taking this 5lb small calzone to go, just deserves a five star.
